Celebrate the diversity of the Japanese arts, traditions and culture through this exciting exhibit featuring 70 unique dolls. Over 3,500 Clark County students and chaperones are expected to visit the exhibit throughout its run.

Ho’olaule’a Pacific Islands Festival

**City Hall to Close Fridays**
The city of Henderson will close City Hall operations on Fridays beginning September 8, 2009. Regular operating hours for City Hall will be Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Other city buildings including emergency facilities, the senior center, recreation centers and the convention center will continue Friday operations as normal. Event Recaps

Over 3,200 people attended National Night Out on August 4 at the Henderson Events Plaza. The event was hosted by the Henderson Police Department event and was covered by local news stations, Channel 5 and Channel 3 throughout the evening. There were 46 booths with information, giveaway items, make & take crafts, demonstrations, kids’ interactive fun and entertainment.

New additions to this year’s National Night Out included the Equestrian Unit, NHP Seat Belt Convincer, ARMOR Robot, Parks & Recreation’s inflatable slide and an obstacle course.
