Tour de Cure

Tour de Cure is an annual bicycling fundraiser, benefiting the American Diabetes Association. Cyclists will ride a 25K, 50K or 100K route through the desert scenery of Lake Mead National Recreation Area and Henderson. Please see traffic advisories for street closure information.
 

Seeking Volunteers for Tour de Cure

Open Auditions for Robinson Crusoe

Missoula Children’s Theatre is holding open auditions for local school-age children to star in a full-length original musical production of Robinson Crusoe .

Over 300 of America’s top anglers and co-anglers will compete in this premier bass fishing event. Join us for the official weigh-in, giveaways, fish pond and viewing.

Spend Mother’s Day weekend at ArtFest of Henderson. The event will feature over 100 select artisan booths displaying and selling a variety of artwork including paintings, ceramics, jewelry and photography. Other family-friendly activities include two stages of live entertainment, chalk artists, Kids’ Gallery, food booths and more. Nevada high school students will focus on a variety of youth concerns while developing their leadership skills, decision making processes and interpersonal communication necessary in the home and workplace.  

Anderson’s Americana Indian & Western Show
March 11-14

Expected Attendance: 1,500
Anderson’s buys, trades and sells Native American and southwest jewelry, rugs, baskets, pottery and collectibles.

Desert Quilters 2010 Show
March 16-21
Henderson Convention Center
Expected Attendance: 5,000
Sponsored by the Desert Quilters of Nevada, the show will include over 200 quilts on display, as well as handmade dolls, handmade dolls, fabrics, yarns, patterns and more. Auctions, drawings and a fashion show will also take place. General admission is $6.
