Shakespeare in the Park
Over 1,300 people attended Shakespeare in the Park, October 2-3 at the Henderson Events Plaza. Patrons enjoyed watching the free production of Taming of the Shrew , which paid tribute to Woodstock with 1960s inspired costumes and music.
The Dolls of Japan Exhibit
The Dolls of Japan exhibit had a successful run at the Henderson Convention Center. Over 5,200 people attended the free exhibit from September 8-October 10, with more than half of the attendance from Clark County school tours. Students, teachers and the general public enjoyed the elegant collection that featured over 70 unique dolls that celebrated the Japanese arts, traditions and culture.
