    Dozens of eggs will be hiding along the bottom of the pool.  The swimmer who finds the most eggs (in each age category) wins a prize.  Swimmers are divided into age groups.  All ages are welcome, but some eggs are at the bottom of the pool.  Those requiring life jackets must have an adult with them in the water at all times.  Bring a basket to hold your eggs.
    The cost is $5 per person, and all ages are welcome.

    Henderson Heritage Parade & Festival
    Once again the City of Henderson will celebrate their heritage with a parade and festival the entire city looks forward to.
    April 26th, the day will begin with:
    The Mayors Breakfast being served on the Convention Center Lawn from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
    This year's parade theme is "Let's Go To The Market"and the Grand Marshal will be the Henderson Farmers Market.
    The Henderson Heritage Parade beginning at 10:00 a.m., will be the highlight of the day, traveling from Ocean Avenue to Victory Road down Water Street.
    The Festival will begin at 11:00 a.m. continuing to 7:00p.m.
    The Car Show will be locted on Water Street between Basic Rd. & Atlantic Ave. from 12:00p.m. until 6:00p.m.
    Car Show Awards Presentation at the Atlantic St. stage will take place at 4:00p.m.
    Zumba Nation will be located at Justic Park from 1:00p.m. until 4:00p.m.

    Enjoy works of art created by local students.  You can view these beautiful creations up close at the Pinnacle Gallery Children’s Art Exhibit on the 3rd floor of the Pinnacle Building located in the Water Street District.  You will be amazed as you view the many mediums these talented students have been working in.  The current exhibit includes several mediums.
    The Pinnacle Gallery Children’s Art Exhibit further illustrates the talent Henderson students have and is a clear indication why The City of Henderson takes pride in their accomplishments.
    The exhibit is currently featuring works of art by student of
    Robert Taylor Elementary School.

    Henderson students help to brighten up Saint Rose Dominican Hospitals Rose de Lima Campus.  The students from Green Valley Christian Elementary School have agreed to have their amazing art work displayed in the Courtyard Hallway area of the hospital.  This art will be on display until June 18, 2014.  Stop by and see why the City of Henderson takes pride in their students and their wonderful accomplishments.
    Gallery Reception will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00p.m., where many of the students and their parents will be on hand.

    Ivan Milosevic describes himself as a painter of souls.  He is an architect that learned to paint in order to improve his drawing skills.  Since then painting and drawing has become an important part of his life.  His love for Mother Earth is what inspired him to paint Native Americans.  He feels each portrait has a story to tell, just look into the eyes and you will know.
    Stop by The Gallery located inside the Henderson Multigenerational center.
    The opening reception will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 7:00pm.

    This eco-friendly celebration includes birding walks, activities for all ages, staff led tours and a variety of hands on exhibits.  The Birding Celebration recognizes both Earth Day and International Migratory Bird Day.  Observed annually on April 22, Earth Day is the largest civic event in the world and is designed to encourage support for environmental programs.  It is designed to inspire citizens to make positive changes in their communities.
