ArtFest is an annual event in Henderson’s Water Street District. This very popular, Mother's Day Weekend, event will feature over 200 selected artists from across the nation. Each artist will be displaying a unique one-of-a-kind work of art for you to view as well as purchase. Choose from paintings, sculptures, ceramics, fibers, fashions, jewelry and more.
There will be a variety of entertainment to enjoy, featuring music from yesterday and today. Stages will be on the Convention Center Lawn as well as the Events Plaza.
Plan on enjoying a fabulous culinary fare at the food court located in front of the main stage. There will also be packaged product for you to take home, for your enjoyment after the festival.

All five members of Blues Storm put forth the great sound of rockin' blues music as well as great classic blues. Four of them contribute as vocalists as well as instrumental legends. Don't miss this great local band.
Stop by one of the Water Street District's great eateries and then stay for Thursday Night Live!
Personal coolers are welcome but please refrain from bringing glass containers.
This is a great way to relax as you kick off the weekend.

Under the baton of Taras Krysa, the Henderson Symphony Orchestra will close its 2007-2008 Master Series with Gustav Mahler’s Symphony #1 in D Major “Titan.” Mahler’s symphonic masterpiece is a mixture of echoing the continual conflict between idealism and realism. Henderson Symphony Orchestra audiences will surely feel the passion and pain inherent in Mahler’s 19th century musical classic.

This performance will mark Jesse Cook's second visit to Henderson with his wonderful flamenco music filling the plaza and amphitheatre once again.
Since his last performance in Henderson he has been nominated as Guitarist of The Year by the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards Committee.

The District at Green Valley Ranch invites you to enjoy the Instrumental music of Bella Rumore. While you're there treat Mom at one of their great restaurants for lunch or visit the unique shops on Main Street.
The District will also be hosting Festival of the Arts, fun and entertainment will be limitless.

Take a look back at Las Vegas's longest running civic tradition. There will be a roundtable discussion at the Clark County Museum, where stories and memories of those who were directly involved in the celebrations and community preparations will be told.

Trace Adkins will be performing his traditional country mix of classic honky-tonk with elements of gospel, blues, and rock & roll while appearing in the Amphitheatre at Sunset Station. You won’t want to miss this great baritone voice with its amazing wide range of sound.

If it's Saturday, it's fun and it's free. The District at Green Valley Ranch invites you to enjoy live Top 40/Latin music by Joyride. It will be an evening for the entire family to enjoy together.
While you're there you can plan to have dinner or just stroll down the street and do a little shopping.
This performance will be at The Courtyard, west of Green Valley Parkway, midway down Main Street.

Spend an evening at beautiful MonteLago Village, at Lake Las Vegas Resort, as well as supporting two local non-profit organizations.
The sun will be setting as you stroll along the water at MonteLago Village sampling fine wines and listening to the soulful sounds of jazz music. This relaxing, romantic and fun evening is brought to you by Vino di Lago.

“The Sea, Ship and Shoreline” Marine subjects are Bill’s main interest, including shore lines, boat yards, fishing boats and equipment. Clipper ships are of particular interest.
The objective of his art is to create a work that provides visual pleasure to the viewer.
Bill works in the watercolor medium.

This is a monthly event that everyone enjoys. You can stroll down Water Street, Pacific Avenue, Market Street and Army Street enjoying Henderson's art district as well as the lovely shops and eateries.
Make an evening of it and stop for dinner at one of the local restaurants. Downtown Henderson has changed so come see what's new.

Interested in bird watching but don't know how to get started? Learn the basics of using binoculars and spotting scopes, identification techniques, and bird watching etiquette and ethics. A staff member will lead a tour of the preserve so you can practice your new skills. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. Dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes.

Stop by the Farmers Market and enjoy having fresh market fruits and vegetables on your table. In addition to the wonderful fruits and vegetables you will find fresh baked breads, fresh made salsas, honey, great coffee & tea products and much more. There are booths with great gift ideas such as hand made knitted and embroidered items, beautiful wood carved items, hand made jewelry and other specialty items.
This event takes place every Thursday, weather permitting.
