The City of Henderson Cultural Arts & Tourism Department announced the Spring 2008 Season Schedule today. This season residents will enjoy an array of high-quality performances and events that will include some favorites such as the Henderson Heritage Parade and Festival as well as a showcase of performers catering to a variety of musical tastes from the Fresh Aire sounds of Mannheim Steamroller to the upbeat vocals of teen sensation Drake Bell.
The Cultural Arts & Tourism Department is dedicated to providing a full cultural and artistic experience for the community. Each year, the Department programs concerts, performances, visual arts exhibits, festivals and special events that are fun, family-friendly and easily accessible.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival

Show your green spirit as the City of Henderson presents the 42nd annual “Sons of Erin” St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival. Over 100 parade entries will march down Water Street in downtown Henderson for this fun-filled event. Families will enjoy live music, festive entertainment, carnival, rides and more.
“The Pied Piper”

Cheer on our local children as they star in a fun rendition of “The Pied Piper” presented by the Missoula Children’s Theatre. Become enchanted by the magical tunes of the Pied Piper as he rids a town of pesky rats. Find out what happens when the mayor refuses to pay the piper and the rats aren’t the only thing mesmerized by his magical tune.
Henderson Symphony Young Artists Concert

Enjoy an afternoon of serenity as the Henderson Symphony Orchestra honors its Young Artists Competition Winner. The Winners will be featured in the Concert Series II performance with the orchestra. Audiences will enjoy a free musical journey with the orchestra’s performance of Beethoven’s classics.

Irving Berlin’s I Love A Piano

Henderson Symphony Orchestra audiences will surely feel the passion and pain inherent in Mahler’s 19th century musical classic.
