Venue attendees can preview seat selection prior to ticket purchase
The City of Henderson has launched a new interactive seating chart for the Henderson Pavilion, Southern Nevada’s largest outdoor theater. Potential Pavilion attendees will now have the opportunity to access panoramic views of the stage from various seating sections within the venue by visiting HendersonLive.com/Pavilion.
“The Pavilion doesn’t have a bad a seat in the house,” said Andrea Primo, Director for the Cultural Arts & Tourism Department. “This new interactive feature allows our customers a chance to experience that for themselves, prior to purchasing their event or concert tickets.”
The interactive seating chart was designed to assist with the seat selection process and easing the ticket-buying experience. With the new enhancement, guests are able to virtually explore the sightlines of the Pavilion by simply clicking on a camera icon within the seating chart and personally choosing their seats.
Since opening in 2002, the Pavilion has hosted a variety of performances from full-scale, off-Broadway productions to ballets like The Nutcracker, as well as sold-out concerts including Paramore, “Weird Al” Yankovic and Nickelodeon’s Drake Bell. Most recently, the unique venue hosted a successful $10 concert series last fall, featuring multi-platinum artist, Smash Mouth, and a ‘80s & ‘90s show with Exposé, All-4-One and P.M. Dawn.
Using the momentum from the success of the $10 concert series concept, the Pavilion will kick off its spring 2011 season with performances by guitar virtuoso, Jesse Cook, April 28; ‘90s rock band, Sugar Ray, April 29; The Wizard of Oz performed by the Las Vegas Shakespeare Company, May 13-15 and May 21-22; a live screening of Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra, June 3; and The Symphonic Rock Show presented by Las Vegas’ favorite classic rock tribute band, Yellow Brick Road, and a 30-piece orchestra, June 18.
