CITY OF HENDERSON GOES UNDER THE SEA WITH THE LITTLE MERMAID

Local children star in Missoula Children’s Theatre production of everlasting fairytale

The City of Henderson, in conjunction with the Missoula Children’s Theatre, will present an original production of the timeless underwater fairytale, The Little Mermaid. Performances will be held on April 11 at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 S. Water Street, and April 18 at the Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris Street, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., both days. Ticket prices start at $5.

“We are excited to celebrate a 22-year partnership with the Missoula Children’s Theatre,” said Andrea Primo, Director of the Cultural Arts & Tourism Department. “It offers a unique opportunity for local school children to get involved and, even, star in a full-scale production.”

The Little Mermaid will treat audiences with a vast array of charming musical scores, plot surprises and humor during the full-length ensemble. Find out what happens when “Little Mermaid” Celia and her three sisters visit the world above the sea and discover ferocious dragons, advancing armies and a handsome prince.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre has delighted and amazed audiences for nearly four decades by providing quality education, entertainment and enrichment for all ages through the performing arts. Additionally, it continues to captivate audiences with its fantastic ensemble of Broadway musicals, poignant comedies and original children’s productions.

Tickets can be purchased at the door of both locations. Cash and checks accepted.
