Larkin Poe
June 3 at 8 p.m.
After saying goodbye to the bluegrass phenomenon, The Lovell Sisters, in early 2010, the sibling duo of Rebecca and Megan Lovell formed Larkin Poe, a nod to the legend of their great-great-great grandfather.

With their band, the 20-something folk rockers tell stories of life experiences through music. Since its creation, Larkin Poe recorded and released four seasonally-themed albums, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, in late 2010.

The girls, who have collaborated with Elvis Costello and have played at the Grand Ole Opry with their former group, are now touring the country as Larkin Poe, introducing their fans to a new sound and energy.

The Grascals
June 10 at 8 p.m.
Award-winning bluegrass band, The Grascals, will pay tribute to one of their cherished idols, Andy Griffith. They will celebrate the music from the fictional town of Mayberry by playing songs from the popular ‘60s sitcom, The Andy Griffith Show. This concert is an encore performance to their 2010 tour, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the popular comedy.

In addition to their ode to Andy Griffith, Barney Fife, Opie and friends, The Grascals have joined country legends, Dolly Parton and Hank Williams, Jr. on tour, performing their blend of innovative bluegrass and country music. They have also appeared on several national television shows including The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson and CBS’s Early Show.

The Motels
June 17 at 8 p.m.
Fronted by Martha Davis, The Motels hit the music scene in the early ‘80s. As one of the most influential bands from the New Wave era, the group reached super stardom with mega hits “Only the Lonely” and “Suddenly Last Summer”.

Currently, the band features a fresh, new lineup, complementing the magnetic vocals of Davis. They are touring the U.S., performing The Motels’ timeless songs, as well as new music that combines the sounds of the original group with the modern rhythms of rock.

300th Army Band
June 24 at 8 p.m.
A favorite of the Henderson community, the 300th Army Band returns to the city to perform a versatile repertoire of popular classical, patriotic and contemporary songs.

For decades, the group, comprised of Army Reserve soldiers, has been known as “The Musical Ambassadors of the Army”. The talented musicians have performed at a variety of community and military events throughout the nation, as well as played for former president, Gerald Ford; California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger; WWII pilot, Chuck Yeager; and Los Angeles Dodgers announcer, Vin Scully.
