The City of Henderson is getting revved up for the 9th annual Super Run Classic Car Show from September 25-28 in the Water Street District. Featuring thousands of flashy street machines, hot rods, motorcycles and classic cars of yesteryears, the three-day nostalgic extravaganza is FREE for spectators.
“Super Run Classic Car Show continues to gain momentum as Southern Nevada’s largest car show,” said Andrea Primo, Director of the Department of Cultural Arts & Tourism. “It is one of Henderson’s most popular events and attracts over 100,000 car enthusiasts to downtown Henderson each year. It’s exciting to see the impact of the event as spectators stroll down memory lane and others admire the machines from an era that defined a generation.”
Other festivities include poker walks, contests, giveaways and cash drawings. Additionally, event goers will enjoy a variety of live entertainment at the Henderson Events Plaza, located at 200 S. Water Street. This year’s headliners include rising country music star Keith Anderson on Friday at 8 p.m. and 60s rock n’ roll band The Grass Roots, most notably recognized for their Top 40 hits “Lets Live For Today” & “Midnight Confessions” on Saturday at 8 p.m.
The proceeds from this year’s Super Run Classic Car Show will benefit several children’s charities and non-profit organizations.
