The City of Henderson will celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic evening filled with a variety of family-friendly events on Friday, July 4. This year, the city is offering residents two locations, Henderson Events Plaza and Anthem Hills Park, to enjoy the holiday festivities and spectacular fireworks displays.
Henderson Events Plaza
200 S. Water Street
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Residents will enjoy musical performances by The FAB, the ultimate Beatles tribute adventure, and the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. A second stage sponsored by New Country 95.5 KWNR will host country entertainer Randy Anderson and rising star Emily West. Additionally, children of all ages can cool off with the dancing water play area as well as participate in a number of other amusing activities. The night will culminate with a sparkling fireworks display.
Shuttle service will be available from Morrell Park, located at 500 Harris Street.
Anthem Hills Park
2256 N. Reunion Drive
7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Smooth Jazz 105.7, The Oasis will host the live entertainment. The evening will conclude with the fireworks display.
Shuttle service will be available from Coronado High School, located at 1001 Coronado Center Drive.
Both City of Henderson 4th of July Celebrations are free and open to the public.
