SUPER RUN CLASSIC CAR SHOW CELEBRATES 10th ANNIVERSARY

The City of Henderson is putting the pedal to the metal for the 10th annual Super Run Classic Car Show, September 24-27 in the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 S. Water Street, in the Henderson Water Street District. Recognized as Southern Nevada’s largest car show, the four-day nostalgic extravaganza features over 1,000 flashy street machines, hot rods, motorcycles and classic cars of yesteryears, as well as headliner entertainment. Spectator admission is FREE.

“Super Run has quickly become a nationally recognized event, growing in attendance year after year,“ said Andrea Primo, Director of the Cultural Arts & Tourism Department. “We’ve seen an increase of car enthusiasts from across the nation, especially from Nevada’s neighboring states of Arizona and California. They come to Super Run to relive their childhood memories and create new ones.”

This year’s headliners include the pioneers of surf music, Jan & Dean featuring Dean Torrence, A Classic California Beach Party!, a super group comprised of former Jan & Dean, Beach Boys and The Bel-Airs musicians, on Friday, September 25 at 8 p.m. The band will perform a blend of Jan & Dean and Beach Boys hits such as “Surf City,” “Little Old Lady from Pasadena,” “I Get Around,” “Good Vibrations” and many more.

Additionally, country music star Aaron Tippin will perform chart topping songs like “There Ain’t Nothing Wrong with the Radio,” “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You” and “Kiss This” on Saturday, September 26 at 8 p.m.

Performances will be held on the Main Entertainment Stage, located at the Henderson Events Plaza.

Last year, the event had a record turnout of car entries and attendees. Over 1,300 vintage vehicles, street rods and muscle cars were displayed in the Water Street District and over 130,000 people from across the nation attended over the four days.
