HENDERSON PAVILION TO HOST NICKELODEON STAR MIRANDA COSGROVE

Tickets on sale now!

Miranda Cosgrove, famous for her starring role as Carly Shay on the hit Nickelodeon television show iCarly, will embark on her musical career, taking the stage at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway, for the first time on Friday, September 16 at 8 p.m., as part of her Dancing Crazy Summer Tour, an extension of her 2010 inaugural solo concert calendar. Tickets are $21 and $35, plus service fee, and are on sale now!

As the only show date scheduled in Nevada, fans will have this exclusive opportunity to see the teen sensation perform her smash hits live, on-stage. From “Leave It All to Me,” the theme song from iCarly, touted as Nickelodeon’s highest-rated live-action show, to “Stay My Baby,” “About You Now” and “Headphones On,” Cosgrove will have the crowd out of their seats, dancing and singing. The talented 18-year-old will also debut music from her most recent album, High Maintenance, including the title track, “Dancing Crazy,” which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier last winter.

With this concert, Cosgrove will join an elite list of Nickelodeon stars that have appeared at the Henderson Pavilion. She will share the ranks with such teen idols as Big Time Rush, Jennette McCurdy, as well as Drake Bell, the first television-to-music artist from the network to perform to a sold out crowd at the local venue.

Before iCarly, which will celebrate five years on-air in 2012, Cosgrove’s fame rose quickly, playing the mischievous Megan Parker, a popular supporting character from Nickelodeon’s hit series, Drake & Josh. In addition, the performer has lent her voice in several animated features including Despicable Me, opposite Steve Carell, and has shared the big screen with Jack Black in School of Rock.

Cosgrove has received numerous accolades including a Young Artist Award and several Kids’ Choice Awards over a brief, but very successful period of time. She is currently nominated for a Teen’s Choice Award, with results scheduled to be announced this Monday, August 8 on Fox.
