The City of Henderson Cultural Arts & Tourism Department is pleased to announce that country music star Keith Anderson and oldies sensation The Grass Roots will be the headlining acts during the Super Run Classic Car Show, scheduled for September 25-28 in the Water Street District in Henderson. Admission and parking is free.

Singer/songwriter Keith Anderson has quickly become a rising superstar in the country music world. Anderson, who has been writing award winning hits for years, recently released his sophomore album C’MON! earlier this year. The album’s current single, “I Still Miss You,” has become a Top 30 single on the Hot Country Songs Chart.
The Grammy-nominated songwriter has also co-written songs for other artists including Garth Brooks, Gretchen Wilson and Big & Rich. Most notably, Anderson is recognized for writing Big & Rich’s #1 smash “Lost In This Moment,” which garnered a Country Music Award and Academy of Country Music Award nomination.
Additionally, Anderson has received other accolades as a solo artist including two Top 10 hits, “Pickin’ Wildflowers” and “Every Time I Hear Your Name,” from his debut album and being named country music’s #1 new male artist in 2005 by Billboard and Radio & Records music trade publications.

Hitting it big in the 60s and 70s, rock & roll legends The Grass Roots continue to wow crowds as they tour the nation. Their songs have become timeless anthems and are recognized by all generations of people. The most popular are the Top 40 hits “Midnight Confessions,” “Let’s Live For Today” and “Sooner or Later.”
Additionally, The Grass Roots have achieved many milestones in a career that spans over 40 years. They have one platinum album, two gold albums, 13 gold singles and are one of nine bands that have charted 29 or more Top 100 Billboard singles.
The four-day nostalgic extravaganza features over 1,500 flashy street machines, hot rods, motorcycles and classic cars of yesteryears displayed down Water Street. Other festivities include contests, giveaways and cash drawings. The proceeds from this year’s Super Run Classic Car Show will benefit several children’s charities and non-profit organizations.
