Bands, organizations, groups, businesses and individuals are invited to register now to march in the upcoming WinterFest Parade, December 12 at 10 a.m. The theme for this year’s holiday procession is “Toys on Parade.” Cash prizes totaling $1,500 will be awarded for entries in two different categories including Best Overall Theme and Best Costume. It is FREE to participate.
The parade is just one aspect of the three day WinterFest holiday celebration. The city’s annual event also features other family-friendly activities including, ice skating, Santa Claus visits and holiday entertainment from December 10-12 at the Henderson Events Plaza and Henderson Convention Center, both located at 200 S. Water Street.
