In response to the success of the 2012 event, the City of Henderson is once again taking its Shakespeare in the Park series on the road with another great production of one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays featuring the Las Vegas Shakespeare Company. The schedule includes a three Saturday tour, which begins October 5, at River Mountain Park. All performances begin at 7 p.m, with a green show one hour prior. Admission is complimentary. The Las Vegas Shakespeare Company is a professional, non-profit theatre company that has presented an assortment of Shakespeare plays, as well as a variety of other performances, including the theatrical production of The Wizard of Oz at the Henderson Pavilion in May 2011.
